This is your fisrt album with Beyond Fear.You wrote about anything you want coz this is your project. How was this experience?
IT WAS GREAT, MY FAVORITE CD I'VE DONE TO DATE, AND I WOULD SAY THE BEST VOCALS

The sound of Beyond Fear reminds Judas Priest and Iced Earth sometimes. How was the writing process?
I JUST WROTE HOW I FELT AND WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR, MY SONGS ARE MOREBASIC AND CHUGGING AND JOHNS ARE JUST AGGRESSIVE AND GREAT SONGS..IT IS A GREAT COMBO

Dennis Hayes is in the band. How do you feel playing with him again?
WE HAVE JAMMED ALOT THROUGH OUT THE YEARS, HE I A KILLER BASS PLAYER AND A GOOD GUY, AND GREAT ON STAGE

What has the midia said about this fisrt album, specially in north America where heavy metal is not too popular?
IT HAS BEEN ONE OF THE BEST REVIEWED CD'S I'VE DONE AND THAT IS JUST GREAT, AND THE METALOVE RHEAR IS REALLY NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THEN ANYWHERE ELSE, SOMETIMES THEY DO MOVE FORWARD MORE WHERE OTHER PLACES TEND TO STAY MORE IN THE PAST..AND THIS CD HAS BOTH OF THAT IN IT

You guys has been playing 2 songs that isn't in the cd. Why aren't the songs in this album?
i HAD ALOT OF SONGS, THEY ARE REAL STRONG SONGS AND I THINK THEY NIGHT BE BETTER FOR THE NEXT CD

The song “Dreams Come True” is about dreams come true. You wrote this song, so its what happened to you, like playing Judas Priest’s songs in a unknow band. Does the song has any conection with it?
WELL AS THE SONGGOESON IT DOES, THE LAST VERSE IS MY LIFE AND THE SONG MEANS ALOT TO ME

Few years ago the movie Rock Star was going to tell your history but Judas Priest didnt allow it. Why wasnt the movie about your life?
NOT SURE, MAYBE THE BAND DIDN'T LIKE HOW THEY WHERE PORTRADE, BUT IT BECAME A SILLY MOVIE ANYWAYS

Talking about Iced Earth, your fisrt álbum was The Reckoning and then The Glorious Burden. How did you get in this band?
JON AND I WHEE TALKING ABOOUT DOING A SIDE BAND, THEN HE ASKED IF I WOULD RE DO THE VOCALS FOR TGB..AND I SAID HELL YA

Iced Earth is getting ready for the new CD which will be relesed next year. What can u tell us about the songs?
NOTHING YET..IT IS ALL A BIG SECRET,LOL

Jon Schaffer is the one who does the writing. Are you envolved in the writing process somehow?
NOT MUCH ON THIS ONE..HIS STORY YOU KNOW..NEXT ONE I WILL. AND I HOPE IT IS A BALLS OUT METAL CD..THAT IS SOME OF MY FAVORITE IE.

Jon is having problems with his back, wich made you guys to cancel part fo your tour. How is he back going? Is it getting better?
YEA, HIS BACK IS BETTER, HE HAS HAD A FEW OTHER HEALTH ISSUES BUT GETTING BACK ON TRACK

The band is going to relese the DVD Alive In Athens, recoerded in 1999, before you ge into the band, but Jon doesnt seen happy with it. What can u say about it?
I CAN'T REALLY SAY ANYTHING..THAT IS ALL JON, AND YES, HE DOES NOT SEEM HAPPY

Last year you guys relesed a DVD Gettysburg 1863, which is a documentary about Gettysburg. What did you think about this video?
WELL IT WAS NICE, I WISH WE WOULD HAVE RECORDED GETTYSBURG AT ONE OF THE SHOWS AT A FESTIVAL..YOU KOW, I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO BE IN THE DVD...( INSTEAD OF HIS DOG)..LOL

Last month, Ernie Carletti was acussed of raping a girl. How did the band take this information?
WELL NOT VERY GOOD OFCOARSE...BUU HE NEEDS TO GET THIS WORKED OUT AND WE NEED TO MOVE ON FROM HERE

You guys are looking for a new bass player to Record the next álbum of Iced Earth. What do you expect of this new player?
TO PLAY WHAT JON WANTS AND PLAY THE OLOD STUFF DEAD ON...

Who do you think you will work with Iced Earth and Beyond Fear at the same time?
NO, BEYOND FEAR WILL RAP IT UP AND IT WILL BE IE TIME, THEN AFTER IE I WILL GO RIGHT BACK TO BEYOND FEAR AND TOUR THE WORLD

You’ve been in Brazil in 2001. Do you have plans to come back with your bands?
I WANT TO COME BACK REAL BAD..MAYBE IE WILL BE THERE NEXT YEAR

A lot of people used to say how you and Rob Halford play when you were in Judas Priest.. Did you feel bad about it?
NO ROB IS GREAT AND A FRIEND OF MINE..I DID A GREAT JOB WHILE I WAS IN JP..GOOD LUCK TO THEM..NOW IT IS MY TIME TO DO OTHER STUFF AND IT IS GREAT

Even that you guys relesed the álbum Jugulator (97) e Demolition (2001). What can you say about the time you were in Judas Priest?
MAN IT WAS A BLAST, I REALLY LOVE THOSE GUY'S, AND THE CD'S ROCKED..THEY TAUGHT ME ALOT, I DO MISS EM SOMETIMES BUT WHAT I'VE GOT NOW IS JUST AMAZING

The last album you did wth the band were Live in London (2002). What did you think about the results?
IT WAS AWSOME, NO OVER DUBS IT WAS RAW AND I LIKE THAT, IF YOU CAN'T DO IT LIVE, DONOT DO IT. AND THE BACK STAGE STUFF WAS GREAT, YOU COULD SEE HOW WE ALL GOT ALONG..THAT IS A DVD, YOU KNOW.

When a player get out of a band, he starts drinking and having trouble with drugs. What did you do to get over it?
PUT OUT TGB..I WENT TO IE RIGHT AWAY, I ALSO HAD A NEW BORN SON SO IT WAS REALY A GREAT TIME IN MY LIFE..I NEEDED TO GET OUT OF PRIEST AND THET NEEDED TO GET ROB BACK AND ROB NEED PRIEST BACK, IT HAS WORKED OUT FOR EVERYBODY

Do you still have contacts with the players of Judas Priest?
NOT MUCH..I WISH I HAD MORE BUT I GUESS WE ALL MOVE ON

What do you think about Rob Halford singing again? Have u heard his last album Angel of Retribution?
I REALLY LOVE ROB..HE IS THE MAN, TAUGHT ME A LOT..MAYBE WE CAN GET US BOTH ON STAGE AND DO ALL THE PRIEST SLOW SANGS..YEA MAN

Your fisrt album was in 1993 with Winters Bane. After 13 years you are in your forfh band. What can you say about all this years?
FUN YEARS..I HAVE REALLY GROWN AS A MUSICIAN SENCE THOSE DAYS..I WOULD LOVE TO RE DO THAT CD WITH JIM MORRIS AT THE HEALM
