Okay it seems we can`t live without them? Or can we! I have a confession to make...I have one But it wasn`t until recently...about three years back that I succumbed to the portable walkie talkie Mainly due to the fact the digital camera arrived with them. These days they are getting more and more enhanced with unbelievable extras. But my question is...Can you live without them? Try the poll. PowerKnight _________________ Joust With Thee

I have a phone, but honestly, I don't come near using my minutes. And I only have like 50 minutes a month. My wife, and I, added her mother to our plan, in doing that, we had to basically start a new plan. We are on Cingular. I had over 6,000 minutes rolled over before we changed plans. So, I could live without one. It is nice in case of an emergency, or if you can't remember what you went to the store for _________________

We have a cell phone, but barely ever use it. We take it with us so the babysitter can reach us on the rare occassions when we go out.
I have a pay as you go plan and buy about $10 of airtime each month. Your minutes expire after a month, so you have to buy time even if you don't use it. _________________

Well mine is a pay as you go, no contract, no hassles, and a five pounds top up will probably last me over a month. But it is extremely handy in the car, should something go wrong! But the thing I do like about it is when shopping with the wife, Tesco is such a huge superstore, I drift off and very often cannot find her...does that ring a bell guys And so communication via the mobile comes in very handy. I can't live without it, I'm using the phone alot on both work and my spare time, since I and my girlfriend have lived a solid distance from each other the last year.
But I can do without mp3-player, WAP, radio, MMS and camera on the cell phone, hell you can rarely even call up someone soon |

You know something, so far most of you have said you can live without the gadgets, yet you all have one and use them! And do you know what, I`d probably state the same PowerKnight _________________ Joust With Thee

| There was a time when everyone must of said i've never get a mobile/cell phone. I've had one for about 10 years, i rarely use it, send the odd text message to my brother, but mostly its for emergencies for my family! But i admit i hate these types of phones. People who have all the latest chart ringtones piss me off hehe. I used to say if i'm not home they can wait till i get home to talk to me on the phone lol. |

I personally can't live without mine. The thing is, I hardly ever use it to actually call people...it's more of an organizer, alarm clock, reminder etc... than actual phone.
Plus I can take pics with it _________________
