Play my Game gets my vote as it is just a great solo debut by the Ripper!

It should be Beyond Fear vs Play My Game. Leave Perpetual Flame to go up against the Charred Walls debut...

Play My Game hands down. As much as I like Tim's vocals on the Yngwie album, I just cannot get into it...at all...

I haven't been on here for a long time and this has nothing to do with me being an Yngwie fan at all. I am really disappointed with Tim's solo debut, I was expecting a kick ass Beyond Fear sound but instead it was mostly generic metal riffs and Tim's killer voice. I have had time to reconsider my feelings for the Perpetual Flame album and I really don't consider the best album for either of them but it was a solid effort.

I'm hoping that the songs that they had left over from the Perpetual Flame recordings which Yngwie has stated in several interviews he intends on releasing them because there is a lot of heavy, killer material that he wanted to wait on releasing. I'm not sure if he just wanted to give his fans a taste of what to expect with having Tim as the new lead vocalist or not. After seeing two shows with Tim & Yngwie I can say they have awesome chemistry on stage and hopefully the wait for this new album will give Yngwie time to pick the heaviest & best material for his & Rippers fans alike.
