I personally love Yngwie, but I didn't find PF to be one of his
strongest efforts. Its still decent and Tim sounds great on it.
I really dislike Demolition, but that's not of any fault to Tim.
The writing is just terrible. Jugulator had some cheese but it
was legit brutal. Demolition just seems to fall flat just when it
seems to be getting good. Even the "good" songs on it aren't
very good! Plus Tim wasn't given much to work with, so
his delivery is rather monotone.
Sorry to turn this into a worst album thread.
There are plenty of individual songs that simply just don't grab me,
but I really never listen to Demolition where as I'll give everything
else a spin quite often. _________________

I am the octo-mom / Paris Hilton / The Girls of "SEX IN THE CITY"
whore/slut of RIPPER i love everything he has done including DEMOLITION , PERPETUAL FLAME and The GLORIOUS BURDEN.
All though my least favorite so far is Play My Game.....but i still like it alot.
I just dont understand how some people dont like the songs because of the lyrics....like Mr. MYKEHAVOK and alot others who say that the material is cheesy including MANOWAR alot of people bash on them cause of there lyrics.
Dont get me wrong i love good lyrics but its not all about the lyrics at least not for me. If i like the way the the beat and the vocals sound i like it Specially in Rippers Case i just love his voice i dont know .....
thats just me |

Honestly, I don't like his solo stuff or Beyond Fear besides Scream Machine. I'm also not a big fan of his work with Judas Priest. On the other hand, I love what he's done with Iced Earth which really sucks because he's not on good terms with Schaffer anymore. Ripper's one of my favorite vocalists, but I just can't get into his work outside Iced Earth. _________________ CLICK THE SIG:

| i know everyone has their own specific music tastes etc, but how any metal/rock fan cannot like Beyond Fear is beyond me. Scream Machine is killer, but the album has plenty of other songs that kick major arses. enough said!! |

It's too "macho-american" styled riffing for my tastes.
I like dips of european-melodic twin lead oriented stuff.
In Beyond Fear adds a bit of that, than I'm happy. _________________

Haha what I mean is some of the riffing is simplistic in a way
that it reminds me of those goon-bag beef-sticks playing their
modern metal crap that just boring me to tears.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I like Beyond Fear, but I think the
potential is there to make a great record. The debut had was decent.
I wanna see where that potential can go.
I will say that I like the album more now than I did when it came out...
and more than Tim's solo record. _________________
