A short answer from Tim about the status of BF, copied from an interview with him located at Blabbermouth:

"Tim Owens: Well, most of the songs for the second album are already written. My manager thought that it would be best if we released the solo album first. We are definitely active, we live together… well, not in the same house (laughs)… but nearby. It's a good thing! The next record will be a little more aggressive."

Sounds great I think, also that it will be a little more aggressive! Hopefully it'll be a 2009 release Smile

i think your looking at a 2010 release at the earliest cause he is touring behind his solo album and the Charred Walls of the Damned album dropping in the fall according to another source

In October '09 (I think) Tim apparently posted this on his facebook:

"my solo cd play my game is in stores now.....lol! and working on the new Beyond Fear cd"

SO, anyone heard anymore news or did the guys fall asleep in the studio? Rolling Eyes

Yeah, he posted a message on my Myspace page saying he had two new BF tunes ready, I posted about it elsewhere on here.
How much else is ready I don't know.

OK. Thing is that Tim has so many projects and bands he's dealing with so it takes such a long time. But things seems to be running in the silent maybe...hopefully there's a release coming up (or some kind of update/info)

Btw. what label are they signed on nowadays?

that could be what is holding up the recording process..i know they were on SPV but i have no idea what is happening with that label

I can tell you that the cover art is done. And I'm pretty sure he's settled on a title.
