who's your pick? i've been listening to alot of John Bush (Armored Saint/Anthrax) lately and to me he's my pick! great singer, great lyricist, great stage presence, he's a complete package! yes Bruce's voice is better and so is Tim's but Bush does alot of his own song writing so hence my pick...who's yours? _________________ The bass player/vocalist for In Through the Out Door and the bass player/backup vokills for Die Deader |

Steve Harris wrote most of the classic material actually and hey, i'm not knocking bruce, i love maiden and the songs he writes are great but i'm more participial to bush for his style i guess _________________ The bass player/vocalist for In Through the Out Door and the bass player/backup vokills for Die Deader |

Tim's my favourite for sure.
Dickinson is close. Halford is nowhere near as good (today). _________________

Steve harris wrote all of iron maiden (the album) and killers pretty much but after that bruce contributed at least half... he wrote run to the hills, trooper, children of the damned, 2 minutes t to midnight, power slave, Aces high. a shit load of songs on seventh son of a seventh son... And on no prayer for dying, as long as the final frontier... So don't say bruce only sings! As for ronnie james dio, if it wasn't for his influence and Halfords Tim probably wouldn't even be a singer. _________________

i never said he was only a singer! i meant that John Bush does MORE writing than Bruce does, i own all of Bruce's solo albums and most of the Maiden albums (some live albums cost an arm and a leg here even used) so i am not knocking the dude! and yes, Dio is the best but this is for those who are still with us, i love Dio's work from Elf to Rainbow, to Sabbath and Dio and his influence is well noted among the greats and undeniable PERIOD! _________________ The bass player/vocalist for In Through the Out Door and the bass player/backup vokills for Die Deader
