I left this thread open to you Americans on board...but I`m surprised no one has mentioned it??? And so it turns it out I`m threading the topic instead of a US citizen!!!
Any thoughts guys on your reaction on finally nailing him? The conspiracy theorists have started of course not that they don`t lend some ideas but I hope the US goverment will issue photographic evidence to show the world he is actually dead. It make`s no difference simply because the factions that supported him will continue in some form to retaliate anyway.

I made a serious post right after, but it seems to have mysteriously disappeared.

Seriously, I'm glad they finally got him. It's been so long that I thought he might have been dead already or they gave up on finding him.

Taking out Bin Laden is a huge victory for the US and a huge blow to Al Quaeda. The Americans have proven steadfast in their commitment to stamp out terrorism. The world is better off without this murderer.

I would expect some retaliatory attacks, though. Bin Laden is dead, but Al Quaeda and other terrorist groups are still thriving.

This is going to cause huge controversy about the US invading a sovereign country, but it was worth it. They couldn't rely on the Pakistanis and they couldn't afford to pass up the chance to get him. IMO they were justified in their actions this time.

And yes, the conspiracy theorists are already running wild. With no photographic or video evidence, no body, all the secrecy, etc. people are bound to have their doubts about what really happened.

actually with the moon it's a valid conspiracy as there is no wind on the moon, how would the flag stay and why is their a coke can on the moon!?

True there is no wind on the moon...however the US flags were factory fresh from their original packaging, when the astronauts unveiled them there is always a tendancy they react as though similar to a coil effect.
Literally spring out, this is the reaction they gave during the time they were unfurled. I would say almost every angle the conspiracy theorist`s have put forward to their doubt has actually been proven the opposite.
I watched an hour long documentary duplicated the exact conditions on the moon and every single aspect was consistant! Human intelligence has probably always been ahead of itself, don`t forget computers have been in operation long before Windows and the internet were created! PowerKnight

Glad they got him and killed him.Can you imagine if he was caught alive?Millions of dollars for court/trials,he would then be able to speak,and have his say.People would probably try to spring him free,etc.....My son asks me what he did,and he says he thinks he looks like a nice guy,and I tell my son that he would wipe out our whole family if given the chance.How do you explain to a 10 yr old why this guy hates all of us(westerners),and why he thinks he has the right to kill people??
