DD Will be recording and filming their preformance in San Antonio at the South Texas Rock Fest on October 8th (tomorrow) for a possible DVD release!
Unfortunately it's a festival so they only have a one hour slot, but still!!

I asked Tim about this and he has no information about Magica II, he was never approached with anything so that has been just an empty rumor.

We didn't talk about that so I don't know, totally forgot to ask about it actually.
But since nothing has been heard about it I would imagine that something probably went wrong with the recording and it has been scrapped.

Well a lot of things can go wrong when filming a show so one can never know...there could have been problems with one of the cameras, the sound who knows...
