Sorry Elsa
Mexico gave it one hell of a try, though. With today's performance they would have beaten just about any other side there, I think.
Hope you don't have too much of a hangover tomorrow if you are drowning your sorrows! |
Thanks Hertston thats very kind of you...
Well i am not going to lie about it, i am sad, cause think we played better than Argentina but at list we did not lost playing bad....
Anyway...i will be drunk tonight but happy cause some of my friends are playing killer metal live and thats cool
Hope England plays great! I really like this team... _________________ http://www.myspace.com/elsametal |

Mexico played really well last night...But it seemed that Argentina just had little bit more energy left for the extra time.
I have to say watching Argentina's mediocre game I was really hoping that Mexico would have won...
Well today we can see Portugal kick the hell out of Holland....I hope or then my favourite team is out... It's gonna be one hell of a match I think... _________________

Oh! What a goal from Beckham! That's the way to do it!
It took few matches before David got his aim right but it was worth the wait!
Now a similar goal from Figo tonight and I'll be a happy man...

England is playing with great class...yeah, Becks is showing great concentration and he can do great things on this worldcup if he continues like that...I also like, Rooney, Lampart, Gerrard, Cole, Owen....the goal keeper seems to be the bad stuff from that team but lets see,...i miss David Seaman haha but now he is too old for football of course!
Figo is great, i am sure he is going to make a couple of fantastic things.
The same for Zidane... _________________ http://www.myspace.com/elsametal

Both Lampart and Gerrad didn't show their best today, but normally they both are great help to Rooney who is fast and strong when need be.
Robinson ain't all that bad...surely he ain't the best goalie out there but he's good...And anyway the defence of the team is in great form!
Figo indeed is great he's one of my favourite players out there right now. I just hope that he plays really well tonight!
Zidane..well what can one say...one of the best no doubt! And good to know that he can still show his full potential in this cup...
Well an hour to go till the main event of the day...Go Portugal go Portugal go Portugal! _________________

Yep they won!
1-0
Could have done better imo though...mainly because of the somewhat poor playing by Lampart and Gerrard...Just wasn't their day today I guess.. _________________

Oh man, Beckham is a garbage player, this free kick of his will once again elevate him to the status of Godhood, even though the English were all calling for him to be dropped recently. They've struggled in every game against mediocre opposition and I'm looking forward to seeing them play a decent team.
I have a serious question though - how come Joe Cole's head is so massive?
And how come Peter Crouch can stand up on those legs without them snapping? _________________ Xeper

I know I agree, Beckham has a sweet right foot. But he seems to be useless unless it's a set piece situation and I really dont think he's worth his place in the team. He's there because of his marketability and his looks. Aaron Lennon looked much more exciting in the very short time he was on the park to replace him.
If England got a really good manager, like Paul Le Guen they'd be world champs. I just hope Monsieur Le Guen can perform a similar miracle in his time at Rangers. _________________ Xeper
