I have no real favourite - neither team has impressed me. The whole tournament has been shite in my opinion. Crying or Very sad

If France get an early goal I'll back them, otherwise Italy will win it.
I just pray it's not yet another draw leading to penalties or some sort of 1-0 snooze-fest. Please God make it a high scoring match!!!!

Well yeah, your right has been kind of disapointing, not to much football, and many stars went low on their games...but The WC is so much fun to me and there are so many great players there that u can always can get some fun.

To me the final is going to be cool cause i love Zidane and also like Italy lots, i think Italy will win but if France does, great too Very Happy

Zidane is the master, he is so consistent. How anyone can think Ronaldinho is as good as this guy is beyond me.

There is talk of Zidane joining Glasgow Rangers to be with Paul Le Guen - Rangers are my team and I would be fucking ecstatic if Zizou was to come here!!! Very Happy

I agree on that, Zidane is such a high class of a player, he did great at this WC. I would love to see him winning...

Is that for real???? wow that will be awesome. here in Mexico the tv WC presenter is Jorge Baldano and he manages Real Madrid or so, and he said that he tried for Zidane to get him play 2 more years...so those are great news to me too!!! Very Happy

Zidane indeed is probably one of the best players in the tournament..
Klose probably is a close second.
But what comes for goalies Ricardo takes that crown I think...Some great penalty kick saves from him...and he almost got the Zidane's kick too...but his kick was just too fast. Barthez has been bit wobbly...as always, but still managed to make great saves.

I just put £2 on Totti to score first. I wanted to do that and Italy to win 1-0 but the stupid fucking online betting thing wouldn't work properly! Gah!

Anyway, if Totti scores first I get £18 ($35 or so?) back for my £2. Not much but a nice wee added bit of spice to the game for me. Very Happy

Gah!! Like a typical betting man, I had thought about Zidane ALL WEEK as first scorer since he takes the penalties, then changed my mind at the last.
Bastard! Laughing

WHat the FUCK was Zidane doing?!!! Mad The one player in the whole tournament I felt showed real world class and that's what he does in his final game ever? How sad.

Player of the tournament for me then must be little Rino Gattuso - we taught him well here at Glasgow Rangers and look what he became! Fantastic! I was glad the 'Tallies wont it in the end after the shit Zidane pulled.

I'd really like to know what was said to Zidane that made act like that!!!??!
That was a fucked up thing to do and obviously he got it himself since he didn't even come to get the medal...But what a sad sad way to end a beautiful career...

Italy is the winner...which truth to be told I did not believe for a second...but they needed the penalty kicks to get there, but who cares they did it!

We didn't see a whole lot of goals in this cup which ofcourse is a bit sad but all in all pretty entertaining event...

I've been around for 8 World Cups and can remember well enough 6 of them and this has been the worst by a long, long way.
Low scoring matches, diving, penalty shoot outs, not one stand out player........garbage. Sad I had been SOOOO looking forward to it as well. Never mind, let's get the club football season started, come on the Glasgow Rangers! Razz
