From what I hear, they are planning a tour at the beginning of next year, right after they release their new album (which they are working on now).

There is still hope!

DID YOU KNOW---

"YYZ" was the first Rush song to be nominated for a Grammy; it was, obviously, nominated for Best Instrumental. It derived into a drum/bass solo during future tours, and is one of Rush's most popular instrumentals. YYZ is the code for the Toronto International Airport, and the instrumental opens with a rhythm in 10/8 that is actually the Morse code for "YYZ".

I'm going to be heading to YYZ next week when I head for my vacation Wink

Didn't know it got nominated for a Grammy though, I'm guessing they didn't win either. Have Rush ever won a Grammy? I know they won tons of Junos (the Canadian Grammys) and actually won "Most promising band" in 1975. That's pretty cool Smile

They have a new DVD coming out June 15th I think. Going to be a huge 3 disc package from their older tours. Can't wait.

And right now they're recording the new album. Rush has just got to be the greatest band in the whole world (IMO) Cool
