| Okay, as I said in the CS/Painkiller poll, I started to wonder if something happened to Rob, god forbid, and Tim was asked to rejoin the band on the grounds that he can work with his other bands, the band plays more material from Jugulator and Demolition, and that Tim can co-write/write most of the songs for the next Judas Priest albums...do you think he would join? |

If he was asked, I'm sure he would sing for Priest again. He has always had a good relationship with them and he loves the band.
They need to include Halford and/or Tim in the songwriting, though. The songs Glen and Ken wrote themselves weren't as good as those written with Halford. Tim showed his song writing ability with Beyond Fear and I'm sure he could co-create some badass stuff with Priest.
It'd be my dream come true if Tim would get together with Judas Priest again. Halford may be the Metal God, but Tim can sing circles around him. Both singers together would compliment each other nicely.
Okay, I'm getting too excited just thinking about this. I gotta go .... over here for a while... _________________

I get this vision of, when Halford passes on, Tim will rejoin the band for some kind of tribute show? I don't know what that's about but I've always seen it happening.
But I don't think Priest would approach him form a financial standpoint. When Tim was last in the band, be it his own fault, Glenn & KK's faults for writing different style songs or even the record labels fault, they sold less records than when Halford was in the band. From a business standpoint, to throwback to one of the key factors in low profit wouldn't seem too rational.
But from a personal standpoint OOOOOOHHH YYYYYEEEEAAAAAAH. _________________

| i think tim would sing with them again for a good laugh. maybe not rejoin the band. rob knows tim can sing out sing him, but if he would allow tim to join them on stage and sing together on a song, harmonized style here and there. that would be great. chances of that happening 0. |

Okay, metalus, while your idea is great and I would love to see it happen, the topic is that basically if Rob died or quit again, do you think Tim would rejoin Judas Priest if he was asked? But still, I'd love to see Rob and Tim doing a duet together... |

Thank god, I am not the only person with the idea of a tribute concert for Rob...and to reply to the financial point, JP isn't suppoed to be about financial points but to keep making music and experimenting withnew ideas, even if the fans don't like it...so basically Tim would probably be their first choice if Rob dies or quits again. But still, Tim would probably be the most welcomed successor to JP's frontman slot again, since everyone knows he can do it. |

Interesting one, I voted simply No, but there again if certain circumstances changed with much more creative input from Ripper...then who knows? Lets face facts, Ripper can actually write, his Beyond Fear album is brilliant especially Scream Machine. Ripper and Priest...chalk and cheese. PowerKnight _________________ Joust With Thee

Yeah, he's moved on to smaller things now. I'm sure if he was given the opportunity to support his family further and give them more financial stability he would turn it down in an instant because he's done with that chapter of his career. _________________

I was being sarcastic. But hey if that's how you roll then I'm not gonna argue with that.
I just think it's all financial. That's probably the prime motive behind any of these "classic lineup" reunions. _________________
