I really like Desert Plains but i think his performance of Painkiller was extremly good I know alot of people like Halford's version way better but i think we all know Halford cant sing this song live as good as Tim not even in the early recording wen they were on the painkiller tour. Not even when he was with Halford and in my opinion those were the days that made him the Metal God his voice was even better sounding than back in Screaming for Vengeance IMO. I think back in the days of Winters Bane Tim would have sung this song exactly how it was recorded Very Happy

It's a tough battle between Victim Of Changes and Desert Plains...

I really hated the way they played Desert Plains in the 80s...the faster pace really ruined the whole song for me so I was so thrilled to hear it being preformed as it should be here and Tim makes just awesome job with the vocals, I mean the opening scream makes my under pants (gnome) shiver.

But I'll still go with Victim Of Changes, I've always enjoyed Tim's version of it more than Rob's actually...and this probably is one of the best versions of the song out there.

They're all such great songs and Tim sings them way better than Halford.

I'll vote Painkiller only because he does a better job of Painkiller than the original. Halford could never sing this song properly outside of the studio. Tim sings it perfectly.
