Got my copy the other day....Maybe Blood On Wood is the best song on it....i need to have a good listen really......The mixing on it is terrible...some songs the guitars start off really loud, then as soon as the drums kick in...well.....more when i've listened to it several times....so far the album is OK...Tim sounds excellent as usual....but otherwise the music is pretty crappy....might as well be a drumming cd....

I gotta say, I am quite a bit dissapointed with this album after many listens...Tim's singing is suberb as always...but musically...well...sub par really. There are no really catchy tunes and nothing that stands out in any way.

The mix is way off as well...Granted this is probably as close to drummer's solo album as one can get without it actually being a solo album, so that probably is the reason the drums are soooo bloody high in the mix, but to me that is just disturbing. And it is quite clear that Jason is hell of a lot better impersonating some singers than he is playing guitar...

Ghost Town I suppose would be the best track on the album.

And no...this really doesn't deserve an own section in the forum...

Agreed, for me, the album doesn't do much, I mean, the genre is totally different than anything Tim has really done before, it sounds way too modern/punkish for me, Tim's voice is still metal, but it doesn't fit the music, just my opinion though

Yeah, really. "From The Abyss" starts with clean sound, but it's like my speakers are goin to burst! A kind of bad sound-engineering I see.
