I might agree. I think Night of the Stormrider is their "definitive" album, but I think Horror Show is the most enjoyable.

I remember listening to Horror Show when it came out. IE was getting a lot of hype, so I had to check it out.

Didn't like it. Sad

But when I heard Tim do the stuff, it was awesome. I could probably enjoy those records now.

Night Of The Stormrider without a doubt. Great album from start to finish.

Horror Show is not my cup of tea really, it has some good tracks, Jack, Dracula and Phantom Of Opera Ghost, but the rest aren't that good really.

I am actually prepared to listen to an Iced Earth album even without Tim, although some of the stuff I have heard with Barlow I`m not really impressed with the vocals. I like Jon`s songwriting abilities. very impressive. PowerKnight Twisted Evil

This is a funny question, since neither of Tim's two IE albums would be considered my favorite to begin with.

Something Wicked is the best, with The Glorious Burden falling behind it at #2. I love the variety on Something Wicked - fast songs, mid-tempo, ballads, an instrumental, and the big epic trilogy.

Horror Show is average..but does has a couple of good songs. Something Wicked This Way Comes gets my vote....overall a solid album...Funny though, my brother who is 11 years younger than me once said Matt Barlow sounds like HHH when he exhails Laughing

Yea, 'Night of The Stormrider' is AMAZING! The guitars on this album are purest Metal bliss. As far as rythem guitar alone goes, it is UNTOUCHABLE.

Night of the Stormrider, because John Greely is awesome and the riffs are the best Jon ever written
