how bout Ripper tours with Blaze and Tony Martin...3 metal singers that are unappreciated for the work they did when they stepped in to fill some of the biggest shoes in metal...anyone else down for this? i would wonder who would headline...meh, they can alternate but it would be great especially to come to North America for the fans here =D _________________ The bass player/vocalist for In Through the Out Door and the bass player/backup vokills for Die Deader |

That would be sweet, but would never happen....Touring the US especially is pretty tricky and costly....mainly costly.
On a side note, Tony Martin just started a new project called BLACK with bassist Magnus Rosén (HAMMERFALL), guitarist Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMOND) and drummer Danny "Danté" Needham (VENOM, TONY MARTIN)
Now that should be interesting...Tony said that they have started writing stuff now and it sounds really dark and heavy. _________________

i heard about that and i am excited! should be killer!
as for my idea, i remember Martin's Headless Cross Anniversary tour was canceled because of money....and i don't know if Blaze solo has even come to North America! you can't even get his albums here! so i thought a nice package tour like this would be a great way for these underrated metal singers to tour North America, play smaller venues and fill them! _________________ The bass player/vocalist for In Through the Out Door and the bass player/backup vokills for Die Deader |

That would be awesome! Would love to see them together, since I love all of them _________________ Forged In The Sacred Flames.

Well since Blaze has his own record label, you can get his new cds from his webshop....and he has talked to me about rereleasing his older albums (Silicon Messiah, Tenth Dimension and Blood And Belief) on his own label soon, this year perhaps, as well.
Blaze has played one or two shows in the us...he has talked about wanting to tour in the us many many many times, but there just isn't any money there...touring would simply cost too much...that was indeed the reason why Tony's promoter had to cancel his Headless Cross tour as well...and he even got screwed over a bit in that deal if I recall correctly... _________________

i recall that you are correct i believe but for alot of bands, package tours are the best pay to get people to buy tickets! Kerry King said it the best, with the way the economy is no one wants to spend money on one band so a package is necessary (well with the prices of some of these tours i agree!) and yea...i'm not in the US but i wanna see Blaze! i wanna see Martin! i wanna see the Ripper! would be a killer show....have one backing band (with 20 or 30 min intervals to rest) and this tour could fly -D _________________ The bass player/vocalist for In Through the Out Door and the bass player/backup vokills for Die Deader |
