The Dio Tribute, known as 'Dio Disciples' have announced tour dates

Last month Wendy Dio announced a tribute tour for her late husband, the legendary Ronnie James Dio would be taking place this summer consisting of former Dio Members Rudy Sarzo, drummer Simon Wright, guitarist Craig Goldy, and keyboardist Scott Warren will head out on a European tour with Judas Priest vocalist Tim Owens and Toby Jepson under the name of Dio Disciples.

Due to Rudy Sarzo's current commitment to Blue Oyster Cult, he will be replaced by James Lomenzo (Megadeth, Black Label Society) until he has available to join the tour.

"There will never be another Ronnie," explains Wendy, "but we want to keep his music alive and hope you will support the band and become one of the Dio Disciples.

Blabbermouth have reported that the 'Dio Disciples' have announced tour dates in addition to their Download Festival appearance this summer.
