Redivius was proof that regardless of how neat their music may be, Winter's Bane really need Tim to be something special. Because HOAK aside they're just typical speed/'power' metal with no real flairs at all.

I love Redivivus. It's absolutely brilliant. And Alex Koch did a fantastic job of the vocals.

The record seemed to be written with Tim's voice in mind, though. Whenever I listen to it, I think the music fits perfectly into Tim's style of singing.

I am actually good friends with Jeff Sheeler, and I was at this gig which was at The Jigsaw Saloon in Cleveland. Jeff was only with Winters Bane for a short time. He is an amazing vocalist, and a really cool dude. Although there are differences with him and Rip, he definetely didnt do the songs any injustice. He was previously in another original Akron based metal band called "Mob Scene", which I liked alot, you can check them out on MySpace.
